It would feel bizarre and like a big chunk of their take on the story is just wrong if it’s NOT water that defeats her IMO. It’s one of the MAJOR characteristics of her character.
Agreed. Water has to play some sort of part. For her not to be defeated by water would be very random given audience expectation.
