1. His story is done. But =at the absolute minimum= he never saw his son again… which he promised to do, and Belle promised would happen. So, what? he’s coming back for a flashback to wrap that up, Ghost-fashion?
2. Villain after villain is getting old. Let’s just fix Regina and Rumple, shall we? Afterall, Hook has been magically fixed in mere days.
