I agree. Snow casting the curse by sacrificing her true love, David, is just absurd. In what world would Snow ever agree to murder her husband, even in a desperate attempt to save her unborn baby? I didn’t realize this show had become Sophie’s Snow’s Choice. Her splitting her heart in half to revive him is even more absurd, albeit romantic in a disgusting way. David’s heart was crushed. There shouldn’t have been a way to bring David back.
Regina thought she’d tried everything to bring back Daniel, whose heart was crushed before her very eyes. She even went so far as to enlist the help of Dr. Frankenstein. When Daniel was actually revived in SB, he was a monster. How is David not a walking zombie? Too bad Regina didn’t think to split her own heart in two to bring back Daniel, only without all the nasty side-effects. I’m so disappointed by this show. Emma had a hand in pulling Neal’s plug, and he remains dead. Snow had a direct hand in ending David’s life, but he gets to live? I’m so annoyed by the obvious double standards and contrived loopholes.
I’m such a big fan of Snow and David which is why this episode made me sad for them. Snow and Charming’s love story in season one drew me in and touched my heart. Now, their love story has become grotesque. They’re probably going to have to pay a big price for casting that dark curse, like Rumple had to when he lost his son forever.
