So is it possible that in fact the thing that Snow loves most would be one of her children rather than Charming? Charming used Snow’s love for their child to convince her to cast the sacrifice him which would seem to indicated that Snow would find it harder to live without her child than her husband.
Well, in order for the dark curse to work, Snow had to be willing to sacrifice the thing she loved most, who in this case, was Charming, meaning she couldn’t love anyone more. Yet, Snow killed her own husband to get to Emma to save this baby. That seems to contradict itself a bit. It was a poorly executed decision.
And yes, this action does make Snow and David look like the world’s biggest hypocrites for telling off Neal when he wanted to find a way back to Emma and Henry. I guess Snow and David now have more in common with Rumple and Regina than they’d ever have believed possible. They all had a hand in casting a dark curse. Snow took a walk in Regina’s and Rumple’s shoes. The villains are the heroes and the heroes are villains. It all comes full circle.
