Now, I can’t speak to the unique “Papa/Bae” relationship, but I can to the rest.

You can be happy again. There’s always a shadow of sorrow, but you can.

(I haven’t gone through that. *hugs her boys fiercely* But friends have. And … my parents have. And while they’ll never stop being sad about the loss, they are happy. A time comes when you can even smile about the memories.)

I totally want Rumple to find happiness. And I don’t think it would be OOC for him to do so. Living your life lost in sadness because of someone you lost is NO way to honor that loss.

Sigh. I don’t mean to downplay the loss of Bae because … well, I’m right here with the rest of you, aren’t I? But I want Rumple to take names, kick butt, find the strength to break the Dark One curse because of what Neal/Bae did (which I suspect will happen, with Belle’s help) and live (mostly) happily ever after, darn it.
