What I’m saying is that there are plenty of good reasons to think he could make a cameo appearance in the finale.
Oh there are a 100000001 reasons why he could make a cameo or even return full time. Like coherent narrative and staying true to the poetic vision they once had and not giving into what is “hot”
I just don’t know if I can trust the writers to actually remember any of that.
His hasty OOC death, the totally crappy funeral, the “let’s all forget about Neal” from the entire cast of characters, the massive amount of rug sweeping being done to make Hook look like a loving step papa and not the man who sold Bae to the Lost Boys, Emma’s “past is in the past” + not wearing the Swan Pendant which btw she’s not wearing in FTL past events. At least not with the red ball gown, and Rumple’s whole “I am going to honor my son’s sacrifice by killing Zelena but not actually going after him in the past” of 318…
All of it screams, IMO, trying to force the audience to forget that he was ever there in order make way for something else.
If there is a cameo by MRJ, then I predict it will be watching him die all over again with the message that “whatever happened, happened.”
