“The character as we know him is dead.” What does that even mean? The character Neal is dead. We know. But as we know him? Does that mean we may know him in some other form? Oh right, Baelfire….
Eddy: Death can be really sad, but it doesn’t have to mean we never see you again thanks to the way time works on the show.
I have to second Marty’s conspiracy theory here. Time on this show is non-linear. Time loops exist as they did in BTTF. A time portal just opened up for goodness sake! Might we see not Neal, but Baelfire again in the past? Hmmm.
