I finished the episode about an hour ago (had to watch it late because we went out for Mother’s Day dinner. Curse you, New York Rangers [even though I’m glad you won]), and I’m angry. Really, really angry.
This episode truly was, “CaptainSwan, The Movie!” All the hope, all the chance….Gone. I was seriously angry at how Emma just KISSES HOOK. I MEAN, JUST A DAY AGO YOU WERE ANGRY AT HIM FOR ALMOST GETTING YOUR SON KILLED. NOW, YOU’RE ALL, “I love you! Kiss me, you pirate who I only know what you’ve told me about yourself!” WHATTTTTTTT.
When Emma got herself out of the dungeon, just saying, “It’s all about the thimbles.” It got me. I really, really felt how much they loved each other.
Also, this is a theme I noticed: the ENTIRE TRIP COULD HAVE BEEN WITH NEAL NEAL could have been the one to have fallen through the portal. Rumple wouldn’t recognize Neal. He could’ve given himself a false name – again! This ENTIRE adventure could’ve happened with Neal, not Hook.
But A&E went all “Bahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahaha nope.” Their great vision for this show went down the toilet.
AND THEY NAMED THE BABY NEAL. I WOULDN’T HAVE CARED IF THEY NAMED HIM “PRINCE SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS.” BUT NO. LET’S NAME HIM NEAL. THEN THEY HAD TO FLASH TO RUMPLE ALMOST CRYING ABOUT IT. I MUST BRING THIS BELOVED GIF BACK TO THE FORUM. #DO322
