I don’t think she will regress either. I think the biggest change will be Regina’s relationship with Emma. She won’t hate her, but I don’t see her wanting to have anything to do with her after this. No more magic lessons. No more joining their magic to block out the moon. Bridges have been burned. She won’t try to harm her, but it’s going to be a lot of cold shoulders at Henry hand offs.
OMG! Kind of like divorced parents whose marriage ended badly Lol. But yeah I agree no more magic lessons, of course now she has Rumple to teach her. Though I also think Regina might need some lessons herself, you know on account of now being able to use light magic herself. Do you think she will still be able to use light magic now that anger has risen inside her again? o_O”
