The funny thing about CS gloating about endgame right now is – the show is not over. A lot can change in just a short season… 221 vs 322 is evidence of that (or not, depending on the angle you view it from.) We might get a whole season of CS romance in S4 – and it’s what I’m steeling myself for – but there are a number of other routes they could go, including but not limited to telling a CS story to please the network without going so far as making it the happy ending to Emma’s fairytale. The writers have done some really peculiar things with their storytelling as of late and unless you are, well, Snowing – you’d do well not to count your chickens. (And they even managed to muck up Snowing’s ALREADY CANON story, so even then!! They literally spent an eleventh of their season retconning their core duo! I swear I have NO idea what these people were thinking with the back half of this season… nightmare indeed.)
Cause this story needs some mending & a better happy ending...
