The amount of hate here has honestly become terrifying, even if it is passive aggressive.

Being critical of something does not automatically equate to being a hater. That word gets thrown around FAR too liberally in fandoms.

I understand you’re upset over Neal’s death, but you’re discrediting the very well thought out theories and metas of the CS fandom in your blind rage. I have paid attention to both of these threads over the last years, and both sides have had some great points. But it’s blind ignorance to pretend that A&E haven’t had CS to be their intention since 2×05. I’m sorry if it sounds harsh, but it’s true.

Any CS meta will be just as biased as any SF meta. SFers are never gonna buy into what CSers see, and vice versa, don’t make out like it’s only our side who has torn apart the views of the opposing side. And if you really have been reading what we’ve been saying, then you’ll know that it’s not simply that we’re pissed that Neal died, it’s the detrimental ramifications we feel that 3B has had on the show as a whole. And no, we’re not ignorant of how CS was obviously a thing from 2×05. We can believe that they “always” intended for Hook to fall for Emma. We’re aware of the poetic story of Emma and Neal that they’ve been telling since the show began. We’re aware of how many times Emma showed disinterest in Hook. We are not ignorant, we saw everything that happened, same as you did, but we interpret it differently. And we’ve all read all the media spin before, but what we put real stock in is what we actually see happening in the show itself, and what we saw is something we believed in and loved until very recently when things took a sudden turn, in our opinion, for the worse.
