THIS SO MUCH THIS. HOOK Didn’t look for Emma until he was told to. Neal made his way to Neverland to get to his family. And he died in Enchanted Forest trying to get back to his family. This man deserved a second chance at a family and home. I’m not talking he deserved Emma, because no one deserves Emma but herself and Henry. But Neal deserved a second chance at happiness period.
Say what you want about Neal, but the man loved Emma, his father, his son, and the darlings…. and of them loved him.
He wasn’t perfect but the man tried his hardest to right his wrongs and be there for Emma and Henry anyway he can. He loved them so much that he was able to removed himself from his father on his own volition to ensure her safety and her families.
