Yeah, a nod is fine by me. I think enough of the character’s key personality traits fall under folklore domain to make it amusing and I’d expect Once to do its own take anyway. Thanks for the info on the books; I had no idea the film had been based on a series. I wasn’t paying enough attention to the credits, I guess.
