This seems like a good place to bring this up, though it may have been discussed: Should Neal have stayed with Emma? As in, should he have left her when August explained who she was? I mean personally, I see him leaving as a catalyst for everything that happened (she went to jail, had the baby, baby brought her to SB to break the curse, etc) and if Neal had stayed none of that would have happened aside from having a kid. Neal leaving helped Emma break the curse….
No he shouldn’t have stayed. There would literally be no show and now story. MRJ fought A and E on Neal leaving and they told him it was 100% necessary to the story and plot in order to get Emma to where she needed to be both mentally in physically.
