I think Henry acting out when it comes to Hook is taking the easy road. It’s the story we always see – the struggle to make a blended family work. However, what I’d like to see is Hook and Henry to continue to bond, and primarily over Neal as opposed to Emma. I’d like to see Henry get to ‘know’ his father through both Hook and Rumple – his father isn’t there to help him grow into adulthood but those that loved Nealfire as a child can and should step up and help Henry become the man they believe his father would want him to be. I think that’s a far more compelling story. I’d also like to see Emma learn more about Neal through Hook and Rumple’s eyes. To me, it keeps Neal’s memory alive and allows the characters involved with him move on.
