They have barely interacted so far because they barely know each other. And that pesky Rumple was going to kill Henry thing…so it might take some time but I definitely can see the relationship moving forward
And I disagree 🙂
They were interacting quite a bit before the family revelation. One of my favorite parts of Manhattan was Henry and Rumple just sitting and talking, not knowing they were bound by blood. Rumple and even calls Henry a special little boy. And before all that, Henry knew Mr. Gold and Mr. Gold knew Henry.
And yes, the pesky detail of Rumple trying to kill Henry doesn’t help but it’s also not anything that anyone (outside of Neal who is dead) knows.
I like your optimism that their relationship will move forward I just don’t think the writers are interested in Henry having a connection to his father/father’s family anymore.
