One thing that still never ceases to amuse me is how some CSers will decry Neal for getting engaged to someone who professed to love him (though it was all deceit) yet uphold Hook like he was a saint who’d given up all women after Milha. Yet, by Hook’s own admission, he was in the habit of getting women drunk and then taking them below ship for a night they (probably wouldn’t) even remember. Why the double standard? True, Neal made the mistake of not going after Emma when he had the chance, but Tamara intentionally diverted him for duplicitous reasons and made him believe she loved him. Hook, on the other hand, was a self-professed womanizer who has a history of violence against women (e.g. Belle and even Emma herself).
