Pretty sure Adam and Eddy have said that the dark spot cleared up and it no longer exists on Snow’s heart at the time of going through Glenda’s door nor at the time of the split with Charming.
I hope the dark spot is still there because otherwise Snow has just got a get out of jail free card for doing nothing other than crying over Cora which seems like a lame way to get rid of it. Speaking of which, when Snow cast the dark curse the second time, shouldn’t she have gotten a hole in her heart that can never be filled? And if she did, when she split her heart with Charming, who got the hole?
