@WR Graham going back and saying Snow ran away/evaded him would’ve still been lying. Graham could’ve killed Snow, he chose not to. He chose to save her life by not killing her and to make Regina think she was dead so she wouldn’t continue to pursue her. I don’t think Graham gave Regina the pig heart because he failed or was trying to fool her, he wanted her to think Snow was dead. He just wasn’t expecting her to realise it was a trick before he had chance to be as far away from the castle as possible.
