In terms of Regina, have we discussed whether or not the reason she cant attain or happiness as easily as Rumpel for example, is because this is the price of the curse at work? The hole in her heart that she cant fill, perhaps whenever she gets something that would lead her to happiness she is doomed to lose it. Perhaps the only way for her to get her happy ending…is to make it so that she never casted the curse.
Henry was supposed to fill the hole in Regina’s heart, though. So unless that hole (metaphorical) is still “there” then I think Epona has been pointing out some reasons why Regina has not yet gotten her HEA.
