Within the scene itself though, it does feel incredibly odd to see grandfather and grandson talk without either of them mentioning Neal. It has an artificial feeling to it. It’s not natural progress of conversation to talk about Henry’s family, without also mentioning the good traits his father had.
I was waiting for a mention of him also forgetting his dad, but nope, of course not. It’s insulting that Neal didn’t get a mention, and also insulting to Henry that they don’t feel like this character building scene warranted inclusion.
