Okay, so it’s Saturday afternoon and I’m trying to avoid being productive so I’m been contemplating #Baevil.
So what do we know about the origins of the name “Baelfire”. Baal/Bael/Bale has historically been known as a demon. Baelfires (or a variation on the name stated above) is a bonfire for celebration. On the flip side, Neal means “champion”. In our tale our Baelfire transforms from a sweet caring boy into a broken, hardened adult accused of being a villain. Baelfire to Neal; Demon-fire to Champion. Kind of a role reversal, isn’t it!
If this were J. K. Rowling I’d say all this analyzing was essential and would come to fruition. But as these are our trolls none of this means anything, but we do get wild pics from Ranisiha out of it. 😈
