but the sad thing is that if they do the same thing with Hook they did with Neal (if memory serves, I think there were some who didn’t think A and E would really do that) , I’ll lose my reason for watching the show. If that happens, I’ll probably be here to help console, but then will quietly take my leave. I guess we’ll just have to wait, and see
Neal isn’t Hook and Hook isn’t Neal. ABC, the people who pay the bills and keep the lights running, are enamored of Hook. Massively. He’s helping to pay those bills. Neal was never popular with fandom/media and as such was fine for ABC to let go, whether or not A ad E loved Neal or not. I am not saying that Neal was killed FOR Hook, but rather ABC isn’t in a million years ever going to let them hurt Hook. Seriously. If A and E walked into ABC offices tomorrow and said they wanted to kill Hook, the execs would laugh and ask them how much they like their jobs.
I didn’t think they’d kill Neal because of his storylines with others in the show. What I forgot to realize what that ABC doesn’t exactly care about “story”
