Found this in a portuguese page, so that means i had to translate, but since i was not in the mood, i used google translator, i tried to fix some things, but still some errors may appear. This post is more about MRJ than ouat. Also was posted in May, so still no news of the Sols miniseries and the Finest hours.
Saw Michael Raymond-James Neal of #OUAT for the first time in True Blood (Portugal). Breathed talent. A talent so stifling that i tingle just thinking not see him again after the first season. Struck me in such a way that every time i saw Neal, reminded me of Rene and felt a chill, such a “monstrosity” and fidelity he had delivered the first villain of TB.
In OUAT, the episodes went by, and not belonging to Swanfire fandom, I could not help liking more and more of Michael. Neal No, truth be told, because the seasons came only confirm what I suspected from the moment he appeared: would not be on this show that his talent would receive due – and deserved – space. Michael did not breathe his talent as he had in TB or had room to grow as a character. Not had a large output, not even a bombastic entry. Was always the misunderstood, the one who always stood on the sidelines. Will never forgive Adam and Eddy for his departure: not because I loved Neal, not because i hoped for Swanfire, but because Michael deserved to be in a bombastic show, deserved to shine year after year, deserved a clear opportunity. And if it’s to get out … it’s has to be in a big scene.
The opportunity seemed to have smiled on Terriers, some time before. But the series was the poor “relative” of a channel that did not fought for her. A show of detectives that as poster has a dog, which is named after a breed of dog (which has nothing to do with the story), has everything to go wrong. And, once again, as has become usual, Michael was sentenced to one season … much suffering. Your heart breaks into pieces (where have I seen this?), But has its space. A space that was taken from him too soon. Once again.
One wonders: until when Michael Raymond-James will be ignored?
"I offended you with my opinion? Ha, you should hear the ones I keep to myself".
