Well, I called it back when we heard Will Scarlet would be joining the parent show. I said that Will would be a replacement for Neal. Looks like I was right. Emma herself made the connection by bringing up Neal and the tumblers.

I’m not sure how to respond. On the one hand, I’m glad Emma made mention of Neal. I’m glad to see that she remembers when Neal taught her important things, like how to save herself and what home meant. I just have conflicting feelings, since it does seem like Will Scarlet is being introduced as a possible new love interest. While I really like Will and would prefer to see Emma with him than with a self-absorbed pirate, I do miss Anastasia. I really hope she isn’t dead. I wouldn’t mind if Emma and Will have a great friendship like Alice and Will, and that he continues to remind her of Neal. I just have this hunch though that something bad happened to Anastasia. The fact that Michael Socha is now a full-time cast member indicates that the writers have a bigger role for him in mind than they even do for Robin Hood. That makes me think Will is now going to be a fully fledged love interest for the savior. I’m really very conflicted on this matter, since I do love Will and he clearly reminds Emma of Neal. But then I loved Ana and Will together. Help.
