Favorite thing about Neal? He took to fatherhood immediately…no hesitations, no excuses. This man was reunited with a father he never wanted to see again, a lover he never though to see again, and a son he didn’t knew existed. I think he handled it well.
What else? He let Emma make her own choices and gave her the space when he came back into her life and realized he still loved her. No pushing, no using his child as a prop for his romance.
There are a lot of other things, too, but those are on the top of my head.
