Going to continue to enjoy Elizabeth Mitchell’s delivery of The Snow Queen. Such a calmingly dangerous presence after the scenery chewing Zelena. This is a classy and VERRRRY treacherous evil one.
Though much of the episode was preparing the way for the next adventures, with several questionable doofus moments that I am sure someone else will explain because I just let my mind go *stupid box of hair- blank* while watching them, there were a few pretty decent little tidbits presented. Since I mentioned Zelena, the scenery chewing award for episode goes hands down to the ever obnoxiously uber narcissist Regina must have skipped the wardrobe fitting this week. J.C. Penney trouser-pants all the way.
Her whole ranting/whiney/ruined my life/welcome to my world/temper tantrum throwing middle schooler on speed/immature overload mode with Emma was just too freakin’ annoying to be taken seriously. Period. The less said, the quicker I can forget the wtf-ness. And Emma…to quote thyself…Really?
The oh-so-affectionate bookend CS moments were soul pleasing in a dozen ways. I am still quite Hooked. Even with the Zelena Witchy Poo (or should it be biaaatchy-poo?)Award going to Regina, I liked this one quite a bit. And I must admit, keeping away from spoilers for another week was pleasantly beneficial!
