Okay, I did a screencap of the rings. It has been mentioned on tumblr and most think it’s just a mood ring of Emma’s. I have mood rings and I don’t know. If these were any other showrunners I’d say it’s definitely connected and maybe Neal brought from the EF and gave it to her. But this is Eddy and Adam so it will mean absolutely NOTHING.

I don’t think the mood ring means nothing. I believe it has something to do with Rumple and whatever his involvement is with the Snow Queen and Emma. Rumple seems to be in the know about the Snow Queen being Emma’s foster mother in A Land Without Magic. Yet, Emma doesn’t remember anything. One possibility is that the mood ring has something to with her not having memories of the Snow Queen, or possibly also of Rumple keeping track of Emma, the savior. Yet, how this is possible remains a mystery to me since (1) Rumple didn’t have his fairytale memories until Emma showed up in town and he heard her name in the pilot (2) Rumple had not a blessed clue that Emma and Neal had been lovers until “Manhattan” and (3) Rumple didn’t have another way to cross worlds without the dark curse (all of S1), yet somehow the Snow Queen did. Unless the Snow Queen came over with the dark curse and found a way to cross the town line (something I doubt), then I think the Snow Queen had yet some other means of getting to modern-day Boston where she met and fostered young Emma.
