So, Rumple thinks he’s bargained to keep himself, Belle and Henry safe from the curse. But this curse may have a far worse effect on him than on anyone. While everyone else begins to act out their worst fears and lies, I think Belle will begin to learn some cold hard truths about Rumple. From Anna. Anna knows EVERYTHING, and isn’t afraid to speak the truth. And, most importantly, she’s not afraid of Rumple. He’s bound by her dagger-command that he can’t harm her. She’s gonna tell her old friend Belle EVERYTHING. The hat, the urn, the scorcerer. So, while we see everyone harkening back to old grudges which have already been forgiven, Belle will be learning some cold hard truths about deceptions which might remain unforgiven long after this spell has been broken.
I hope that this is exactly how things play out.
