Young Ursula Why would it be Tiana when we have like a million new villains?
I’m skeptical it’s a Young Ursula for one reason. How many times do they announce a casting call for a younger version of a pre-existing character with a pseudonym? Normally they outright say their correct name if it’s just a younger version of a pre-existing character, or they don’t announce the casting call at all. So I’m going with Tiana. As Corbin mentioned, they didn’t mind shoehorning in Rapunzel as a one off, so who’s to say Tiana wouldn’t be? I won’t rule out Ursula, but I have my doubts.
But she’s not pre-existing. Until 411 she hasn’t been seen (as a human) on the show. And unless you watch the promos and keep up with spoilers, you don’t know Ursula is coming
Also, not for nothing but the most famous Miranda in literature is from the Tempest…the young girl who lived on an island with her father who was seriously over protective (very a la TLM–and that whole play is a big inspiration for TLM…)
*shrug* Tiana is possible if they are doing a Rapunzel situation where they randomly shoe horn in a character for sheer purpose of acting as a prop to another one. I just think Ursula is far more likely
