5. Andre….he needs them meds!
Andre is pretty interesting because on paper he is the best man for the job. Well educated, well spoken. He did the “right” things in life. He married well, he got tons of education, he dresses for success. He’s supposed to be Luscious’s proof that a gangster can get out of the projects and make a better name for himself. But without his meds Andre acts a lot like Hakeem when Hakeem is trying to be act like a thug. Off paper, Andre is messed up and trying to be the perfect son but he’s really not. That scene of him in the shower barely breathing says it all.
Exactly…to a blind eye, Andre is most logical choice for the position….he’s worked hard, and has pushed himself to make sure that he’s capable of running the company! He’s the CFO already, but without his meds…he’s out of control. And I’m starting to wonder has he ever hit his wife because when he lashed out at her during the Lyon Family Gathering scene, I could have sworn she said “Don’t Hit Me” when she jumped. His wife really loves him…she maybe a little manipulative but she loves Andre…that shower scene was one of the most tender scenes I’ve ever seen between them two, and I’m really looking forward to where the show goes with them.
