So this morning when I was reading through my tumblr, I came across this CS meta comparison with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.
It just gave me one more reason to love Emma’s upcoming storyline in 4B. Xander helped save Willow with platonic, friendship love. And I can see Once kind of pulling the same thing except with romantic love, true love between Killian and Emma. With Killian wanting to help Emma remember who she truly is, a hero with a good heart and this evil corruption is a curse that she needs to fight for herself, for her family and for him. Romantic true love will save Emma’s heart. I think we’ve already seen that love can reverse a dark heart, so I seriously do not see how the same thing can’t happen with Emma in this next half. I’m re-watching those last few episodes from season 6 of Buffy on Netflix now, fyi.
