I am not disputing that it’s an error. I never said it wasn’t a valid criticism. It is indeed a valid criticsm of the rules of magic. ******I am disputing it’s relevance in a thread about the *timeline***** It is the timeline we are trying to fathom here, not the rules of magic.

I am trying to stick to the thread title, the topic.

Edit: whether or not the curse needs to be taken willingly does not affect the timeline.
