That was definitely my first thought, that Lily’s father is the sorcerer because of the star tattoo. Another option, however, is that Lily is the sorcerer. We haven’t seen the sorcerer at this point, and people have commented that the apprentice seems to do everything and that they don’t think the sorcerer exists. Maybe it’s not that the sorcerer doesn’t exist, but that either 1) “Sorcerer” is a title, not a name, Author-style, and the current one died or something and then Lily is meant to be the next one, or 2) the apprentice knew that the sorcerer would be born one day, because he has the sight and can see the future, but she hadn’t been born yet until Lily came along.
