Of course we all know he would want his son back in this new “happy ending”, but if it turns out that the Author can’t make that happen, then being a brave hero and being together with Belle would be an ideal compromise. Though what fascinates me is that he could have went the route of still being an all powerful wizard with no dagger curse, but it doesn’t look like that is the case. So could the human side of Rumple truly want to be courageous without having to hide behind his magic?
Yeah…if this is Rumple’s happy ending (which it is), then I fully expect to see 14-year-old Baelfire. Why wouldn’t Isaac be able to give Rumple what he always wanted (to raise his son)? And…yeah, wouldn’t Rumple still want magic, even if it’s good magic? And if Rumple is not the dark one, how is he even alive? He should’ve died 300 years before Belle was born. And how is Hook alive if he never went back to Neverland to seek revenge on Rumple for killing Milha? Small details…but ever so important.
