Not as cruel as Zelena was raping Robin. If Regina really wanted to be cruel, she wouldn’t allow Zelena to ever see the child at all, but she will. Having Zelena for a full time mother isn’t a healthy way for a child to be raised, so IMO it’s in the kid’s best interest to be raised by someone else.
I disagree. I think forcing Zelena to watch her child grow up calling Regina “mommy” is worse than if she wasn’t allowed to see the child at all.
Whilst we can all agree that Zelena raping Robin is bad and horrible, it can’t be used as a reason to justify why Zelena shouldn’t be allowed to be a mother for the reason that Regina raped Graham yet she was still allowed to be a mother to Henry. And if we’re basing why Zelena shouldn’t be a mother on Zelena’s past actions then by the same token, Regina should never have allowed to be a mother because of her past actions as the Evil Queen. It’s double standards, it shouldn’t be one rule for Regina and one rule for everyone else.
Also Regina only started truly redeeming herself because of her maternal love for Henry. Why should Zelena be denied the same chance through the love of her child? Again it’s double standards (and hypocrisy on Regina’s part).
I’m certainly not Zelena’s biggest fan but I think Regina is in the wrong here.
<I don’t think Regina can take Zelena’s baby. Robin certainly can.
Robin’s “code” wouldn’t allow him to keep the baby away from its mother fulltime. (or theoretically it shouldn’t but Robin only abides by the code when it suits him). Zelena and Robin should take turns with the baby, so they both have it 3 days each and alternate sundays. That way they don’t have to spend time together apart from when it comes to passing the baby to the other person for their allocated time.
