I agree the aliens were unimportant although I did find the fire Lion appreacance to be very appealing but his whole I am just here to invade the world thing lackluster.
When the lion first appeared, and with Maisie in the dress, my first thought was that they were going for a beauty and the beast vibe. It was kind of disappointing when that didn’t turn out to be the case.
