I suspect that the writers have a detailed timeline but it’s more of a general thing–x happens in this order. They probably have a few dates written down but they don’t go event-by-event paying attention to how much time the show actually portrays passing (and I think they get careless with their “yesterdays” and “chop the beanstalk down in 10 hours type things). So the timeline winds up being far more contracted when you go through the episodes back-to-back (partly because ACTION requires less downtime) than it feels when they’re writing/producing it.

So while mine attempts to document the time between events, theirs has more of a focus on the order of events. And they’re probably looking at big events rather than little stuff–they may not care whether Robin Hood came after or before the curtains scene. (I’ve given in, RG, it’s before.)
