I figure sadly that Merlin is dead. That somehow Emma defeated him. Why? I guess because he is the only one who can take away her powers and so she took him out.

Oh yah. He wants them to seek out Nimue? I figured that was something to be avoided….but apparently she is a good guy? Hmmm… I still don’t trust her. I think, if she still lives, she lives without her powers and IF she helps them free Emma of the darkness, she will take it into herself once more and become the dark one again. Power is tempting.
