I got the message that it was humility that made Merlin worthy…and Nimue was once humble. Even her desire for revenge was not fully cemented until after she drank from the cup, I think–I think she was hurt and afraid in that moment, but not wanting to cause pain yet.
She’s drinking from the cup to have everlasting life even though the entire point of that sojourn was to cut away Merlin’s immortality. That’s not exactly an exercise in humility
