My favorite one right now is that Neal has to stay dead because his death happened in the real world. And deaths in the real world have to stay that way. By contrast, Hook’s death in the AU of 4B can be undone cause that world wasn’t real.
Cue S5B in which Emma goes to resurrect Hook from his death in the real world.

Im sure u will get more masterpiece of storytelling like that, something like neal would never want to be saved bc he died a hero that is why they didnt went to UW to save him, bc lets not forget that appears Rumple could have gone to UW anytime to get Neal but decided not to and he only went now bc he was blackmailed by Emma, or another like Neal is not in UW bc he moved on, had no missing issues at all, etc etc.
