Elliot having a meeting at ABC could mean a few things. I have two possibilities. Either:
1) Merlin is returning in 5B. Maybe he shows up in the Underworld, or appears as some sort of spirit (like certain dead Jedi do in Star Wars).
2) Elliot went in for another ABC show. He did work on How to Get Away With Murder last Season, so it’s not unheard of.
