God you are so right. I mean, I was no Swanfire shipper, but it’s super annoying that the writers just ignore the fact that Neal was a major player in more than just Emma’s life.
Why would they? God forbids they’ll remind everyone that Neal had more connections to other characters than Hook has and that he was more relevant to the story than Hook. Moreover, we know that they think that viewers only care about ships so that is what they’ll talk about, family ties be damned.
