Well it just isn’t true that Hook was supposed to be in multiple episodes. He wasn’t ever supposed to show up in the present day storyline. The writers said as much in interviews. They said that they started filming Crocodile and liked Colin and wanted to keep him on. Colin has said similar things as well. Hook could have possibly been in other flashbacks, but he was never supposed to interact with the present day characters.
