Was I disappointed in an episode where the only people who tried to get to Emma were Hook and Regina while Henry was chilling in Granny’s and Regina’s plan was basically hoping that everyone would be stupid in order for it to succeed? Yes I was. If people compare an episode to The Dark Swan and claim that it was less good, then I really don’t have high hopes for it to be good.
There were a lot of good things that happened in the episode that you are neglecting. How they portrayed Emma’s initial struggle with the darkness along with Rumple’s head voice was spot on I thought. Of course there were issues, like any other episode, I just felt it was an overall, pretty solid start to the season and I thought JMo did a great job with it.
I’m excited to see this one for sure. It’s a biggie.
