To be honest…I felt a little sorry for Milah this episode. We were really shown that she did have hope and faith in Rumplestilskin at one point in time, but it all got destroyed because he took away her choices and basically pawned their second born child off when all of that could have been avoided had he just followed her instructions, killed the magic man, and snatched the potion.
It doesn’t excuse her for abandoning Baelfire, but I could see where her breaking point was with Rumple. Her and Rumple’s present day scenes were great and her interaction with Emma was interesting, but probably not explored as much. And I really felt sorry when I learned that all she wanted was a chance to make it up to Baelfire, but was robbed of it by Rumplestilskin who cast her into the River of Souls where she is forced to endure eternal suffering when she could have had the chance to redeem herself.
Neal rolled over once again in his grave, and I just feel that if Rumple denies Milah a reunion with Baelfire, I don’t really think he deserves one either.
