Like, I get that Emma’s supposed to appear sleep deprived, but she just looks like hell.
Pun intended? Anyway, I can’t help but wonder if Emma’s haggard appearance is intentional. Sure, she’s literally in hell, but she also has gone through emotional hell. She looks worn out, not just physically, but also emotionally, like she’s battered, damaged and feeling guilty.
