Some Greek mythology is also extremely insane and unrealistic though. So certain stories, although more interesting, might have to be changed in order to fit better in the OUAT world.
Absolutely. Never denied the crazy-town that is Greek myth. Anyone listening to the podcast live knows that it’s hard for Jeremy and I not to laugh when I’m trying to explain a thing. I never expected them to have Cronus eating his kids, for instance. But eating is also a metaphor and as writers I expect them to play with that idea.
But they way they changed it here, in this case, isn’t exactly…..fresh. It’s just the same ol’ same old.
ALL THIS ASIDE: any flipping flashback would have been better.
