I heavily believe that the reason that he has decided to say this is because one of the S5 deleted scenes must heavily contradict a big plot point during Season 6. I honestly don’t see any other reason why he’d just suddenly decide this
Maaaaaybe but I’ve seen them all and I keep as up to date on spoilers as anyone, and I seriously can’t think of any deleted scene that contradicts anything going on in S6. At least not to the extent that they need to, at the drop of a hat, literally overnight, un-canon the whole of the deleted scenes from all the DVDs.
