Never said Hook was solely to blame. I’m beyond fed up with Emma but the question was posed about what it says about the CS relationship and if this was the first time we’ve seen Emma shut down or see Hook go drink when there’s a problem, I’d actually be a lot more forgiving because that’s a natural human response. But these two keep resorting to the same tactics and it’s old. I actually think Hook was being pretty reasonable and Emma’s being an annoying shrew but what these actions (and how they cope) say about their pairing is up for debate.
Well yes of course. There is still no honesty with them. But there is nothing wrong with Hook grabbing a drink. And it’s not like he was drunk. He could grab a drink regardless of the situation and it would be fine. He’s just grabbing a drink, sheesh. But yes this was all about Emma here. She’s the one being dishonest, not Hook. And yes, that says something about the CS relationship, but mainly it says how Emma feels about the relationship, noyt Hook. Hook looked like genuinely cared in this episode and I felt bad for him. Emma is the one that clearly has a problem with this relationship, and Emma’s actions were the telling ones. Hook getting a drink was the most realistic thing the show could have done.
